The Torah Connection: Beshalach

The Torah Connection: Beshalach: "Ma’asei Yodai Tovin Bayom: At the splitting of the sea, “The Malachei Hashores (the ministering angels) wished to say shirah (songs of praise). Hakadosh Baruch Hu (G-d) said

to them, ‘The work of My “Hands” (the Egyptians) is sinking in the sea and you want to say shirah?’” The malachim were not allowed to say shirah. Yet Klal Yisroel (the Jewish People) did say shirah. “Then Moshe and the B’nei Yisroel sang this song …” Question: If “the work of My ‘Hands’ is sinking in the sea” and, therefore, the malachim could not sing shirah, how is it that Klal Yisroel did sing shirah?"
